About Me

This is my sweet husband Skot and I on the day we became "The Montgomery's." I have been blessed beyond measure by this man and I thank the good Lord everyday for him. We were married on 7.18.09 and  I have loved being a wife everyday since. Marriage is such a beautiful journey. I couldn't imagine going through it with anyone else! He is sweet, kind, supportive, energetic, and a man of the Lord. I feel like a blushing, school-girl gushing about my awesome b.f. haha He still does that to me and I love it.

These are our current children. From left to right and top to bottom, we have Jaycie - a lovable, friendly, hyper border collie who would rather stare at the cats all day instead of go to the dog park (I think she secretly wants to be a cat) Sophie (AKA Sophalicious, SophaKitty, & Soph-a-loaf) - she is absolutely my favorite child (does that make me a bad mother?) She is the cutest, sweetest, most petite cat ever. Her hobbies include killing birds, chipmunks, and even a rabbit here and there. She is a killer by day and a snuggle bunny by night. She also is trained to go outside to poop which is AWESOME! Then lastly we have Blackie (I know we're super original on that one)- she was a lost battered kitty that wondered around our street for awhile looking for a home…. long story short: no one claimed her, I have a heart for kitties, we got her cleaned up and we took her in! She's a funny thing, she sleeps in sinks and drinks out of the toilet… unfortunately she uses a litter box but she's sweet as can be and loves to cuddle!
Free Black Cat to a good home!!!

update: Newest child (yes that makes 3 cats for those of you counting) Tia! AKA Smoosh, Kitty FooFoo and TeeTee. She is the sweetest thing in the world, I think I may have said Sophie was the sweetest thing in the world before but now Tia is in the lead for that title. She is just so darn cute and cuddly and I just want to squeeze her (and I do sometimes). bottom line I love her!

This is our home. I like this picture because it reminds me of my favorite holiday and how proud I was of Skot for decorating so great this past year! We moved to East Tennessee right after we got married in 2009. We didn't know a single soul before we moved up here, but God has been so faithful and blessed us with a beautiful community that has become like family to us. We love it here!
